01First use: charge, fit and get started
Set up one pair at a time in a quiet room. Lay out the earbuds, case, supplied Type-C cable and ear tips. Check that everything is clean, dry and undamaged.
Charge the case and check that both earbuds are charging in their matching recesses. Then fit one ear at a time, compare the included tip sizes and check comfort while speaking and turning your head.

Keep each pair together in its own included charging case. Check the charging contacts and tips for debris, and follow the manual's cleaning instructions. Let damp items dry before storage or charging.
Pack the supplied cable and any spare tips you use. The hunting bundle includes two pairs with their normal in-box contents; it does not add a separate hard-shell case, cleaning kit or backup earplugs.
03Before your first range visit
Read the range's rules before arriving. Check fit, charge and equipment condition before entering the firing area, and follow the range officer's instructions.
NIOSH recommends double hearing protection—earplugs plus earmuffs—for impulse noise. Never test protection by deliberately exposing yourself to a loud sound. Ask the range staff for help choosing appropriate protection.

Check your route, destination, weather and carrier rules before leaving. Store the earbuds in their included cases. Keep charging equipment accessible and check current carrier guidance for batteries.
Leave your destination and check-in plan with someone you trust. If traveling with firearms or ammunition, consult the current TSA, carrier and destination requirements directly.

Inspect both pairs, ear tips, cases and cables for damage. Check the charge using the product's indicators. Replace damaged parts according to the manual or contact support before use.
Update the phone numbers and destination notes on your range-day card. Revisit your check-in plan whenever your route or group changes.
06Keep your order close
Save your order confirmation and delivery record. The hunting bundle's premium protection covers both pairs under its terms. A claim is reviewed against those records; completing a form does not automatically approve it.

About this reference
NIOSH identifies 140 dB SPL as an occupational peak limit for impulse noise. This chart uses the selected firearm’s measured, unprotected peak from the same study as the chart above. The pulse is a schematic illustration: its width and decay do not show a measured duration or time above the limit. Shot count and spacing do not change this one-shot view.

In these measurements, 5 .30-06 shots add about 51.3 times the noise exposure of 5 .22 LR shots. This compares exposure, not how many times louder a shot sounds.
More shots add exposure. More time between the same shots changes the spacing, not the total. Wear hearing protection.
How this works
We add the measured sound exposure from each shot. The orange line is your selected firearm; the two other lines show the same number of shots from the comparison firearms. The chart height stays fixed when you adjust shots or time, and resets when you choose a different caliber.
The numbers compare total noise exposure with the same number of .22 LR shots. A value of 10× means ten times the measured exposure, not ten times the perceived loudness or hearing damage.
The dashed daily noise benchmark compares the shots’ total sound energy with NIOSH’s occupational reference of 85 dBA over eight hours. It is a comparison point, not the point where gunshots start causing harm. Risk can exist below the line; the workplace reference was not designed as a recreational gunfire limit. About the noise reference
Technical method: ratios use the study’s integrated, A-weighted single-shot sound energy (LAeq8), not peak decibels. These are outdoor measurements at a simulated standing youth shooter’s left ear, without hearing protection. Gun, load and surroundings change the result. This is not a safe-shot calculator or a prediction of hearing damage.
